China unveils an iPod Nano shaped iPhone watch


Boy China does keep coming up with unique iDevice oriented concepts and clones. The Shanghai folks got inspiration from the new iPod Nano aka iPod Nano 6G and thought of manufacturing more than a clone. What we have to share with you today is an iPhone watch, the design of which is apparently similar to a nano iPod.

From the specs side of things, the iPhone watch has:

  • Camera.
  • 1.8 inch resistive touchscreen with multi-touch support.
  • LED Light.
  • Speaker.
  • Bluetooth.
  • iPhone like UI.
  • USB port.
  • Built-in compass
  • FM radio
  • e-books support

iPod Nano like iPhone watch

While the iPhone watch which is an engineering prototype, looks amazing, the specs sheet fail to get me excited. The resistive touch-screen is the last thing I would want in a watch gadget. The screen size is a punishment for those looking to read books on it. Moreover, the iPhone watch for some unknown reason, lacks a 3.5 mm headphone jack/slot.
