Samsung announces four new Galaxy smartphones

It is currently unclear when or if any of Samsungs latest Galaxy-branded smartphones will touch down stateside, but the Korean cell phone maker announced four new smartphones in South Korea on Wednesday. These new devices seem to be aimed at the budget-minded and will likely be affordable options when they launch. The Galaxy Ace seems to be the most capable of the bunch, featuring a 3.5-inch touchscreen, an 800MHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera, HSPA connectivity and the Android 2.2 Froyo OS. The Galaxy mini sports a 600MHz processor beneath a 3.2-inch display and Android 2.2. The Galaxy Gio is bumped back up to an 800MHz CPU, and it touts Froyo, a 3.2-inch HVGA display and a 3-megapixel camera. Finally, the Galaxy Fit features Froyo, a 3.3-inch display, a 5-megapixel camera and 800MHz of processing power with 3D acceleration.All of the aforementioned Galaxy phones will be on display at Mobile World Congress next month.
