Apple's 40 Design Patents Recognized In China

According to reports in Chinese local media, the U.S. technology company Apple has gained 40 design patents in China.

Most of the 40 patents are reportedly related to the iPhone, and the rest cover Apple's design of iOS storage, MacBook Air, and its retail store design.

It is said that 33 of the 40 design patents are iPhone and iPod Nano-related, including the user interface, iPhone's app dock, productivity folder, mute function, keyboard, speaker, FaceTime, the dual-camera dual-image icon, and a music-related icon.

In addition, Apple gained four patents for MacBook Air notebook and three for its glass structure retail stores.
