Makerspace Event at Yuanfen~Flow, For Lovers of Opensource Creation Nov 26th

Incubator, Yuanfen~Flow and Beijing Makerspace are teaming up to host an event this Saturday at Yuenfen~Flows unique venue at 798 Art District for the creative industries community.

They are inviting hackers, entrepreneurs and open source designers to come together, share project ideas and listen to some of the biggest names in Beijings open source community. The aim is to spark conversation and collaboration that will lead to new and exciting internet and hardware based projects.

8 guests will be invited to pitch their ideas for 5 minutes each followed by a group discussion. There will also be some cool live demonstrations of Beijing Makerspace creations such as 3D printer, a robot and laser graffiti.

    China to make Tesla the next BMW

    Tesla's China business is booming Hong-Kong traded Tencent, a company best known for its WeChat messaging app, disclosed in a Tuesday filing that it's  taken a 5 percent stake in Tesla for $1.78 billion.  The investment follows Tencent's new stake in taxi-hailing app Didi Chuxing, which can be accessed through WeChat. "I think Tencent likely wanted exposure to a company that was growing very quickly in electric and autonomous" vehicles, said Tasha Keeney, an analyst on the  ARK Industrial Innovation ETF (ARKQ) , whose top holding is Tesla. "We think the autonomous mobility as a service market could be $10 trillion in gross sales globally by the early 2030s, and companies like Tesla or  Baidu  could take a cut of that," she said.
